Many believe that skin microbiome is set to revolutionise dermatology.
The role of live bacteria, bacteria extracts, pre and post biotics in skincare, especially treatments targeting conditions like acne, eczema, allergies and even dandruff are increasingly recognised. More cosmetic chemists are turning their attention to these ingredients to manipulate the skin’s microbiota.
Now, a conference dedicated to this emerging area in skincare – the third of its kind – will open in London from 14th -15th November at the ILEC Conference Centre. This will highlight the latest research and cosmetic advances while exploring the different pathways to market and how to translate therapeutic research in commercially viable products.
The agenda includes expert speakers from manufacturers including Henkel, Unilever and L’Oréal Paris Skincare, specialist chemists, suppliers and beauty companies already trading in this area.
