Naturisimo partners with Provenance and Handle Recycling to continue its commitments towards transparency and sustainability

by | Nov 30, 2021

Naturisimo has partnered with sustainable communications software company, Provenance and Handle Recycling to further cement its credentials as an environmentally conscious online retailer.

Provenance’s technology enables brands to communicate social and environmental impact with shoppers online in a credible way, connecting claims to supply chain data and third-party proof. Naturisimo is an early adopter of the technology and currently the only beauty platform with ambitions to roll-out site wide.

As the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) clamps down on greenwashing ads, the responsibility placed on ethical retailers to do their due diligence has never been more apparent.

“Naturisimo’s commitment to ethical and sustainable sourcing in beauty makes them a perfect partner for Provenance. In an industry rife with unsubstantiated and ambiguous ‘green’ claims, Naturisimo is promoting transparency and an evidence-based approach to ethical beauty. We’re incredibly excited to power trustworthy sustainability claims on Naturisimo, so that their shoppers can make confident choices about the products they’re buying, based on their impact on people and the planet.”

– Jessi Baker, Founder and CEO of Provenance®

This partnership coincides with the partnership between Naturisimo and Handle Recycling, who’s circular approach to beauty provides uncomplicated and sustainable waste solutions. By giving its customers access to transparent breakdowns of product manufacturing alongside tangible solutions to avoid waste, Naturisimo is continuing to serve and build its community of loyal ethical shoppers.
