After three month delay due to the pandemic, the Makeup Museum in New York has finally opened its doors for makeup history enthusiasts.

In keeping with local coronavirus guidelines, the museums welcome guests to explore makeup through the ages, through events and interactive exhibits.
The museum’s debut exhibition ‘Pink Jungle: 1950s Makeup in America’ explores beauty in the 1950’s era, with a focus on beauty icons, entrepreneurs and artifacts of the decade, including Erno Laszlo’s collection of facials products loved by Marlyn Monro and Greta Garbo.

Back in July, in partnership with Vogue, the Makeup Museum released never-before-seen images of celebrity makeup artist, Kevyn Aucoin’s journals, providing a glimpse into Aucoin’s life.You can read our blog post on the journals here.
