CTPA Launch Updated COVID-19 Guidance on In-Store Testers

by | Apr 8, 2021

As lockdown restrictions begin to ease across the UK, retail stores, salons and spas are preparing to reopen. The CTPA have launched updated guidance on in-store testers, with consultation from the British Beauty Council.

This CTPA guidance promotes beauty being safe in store for the customer and staff by helping brands, retailers, salons and spas to prepare for providing testers when retail stores re-open.

The guidance provides key measures for beauty counters and other retail formats introduced in phased stages.  It highlights important factors to consider, such as enhanced hygiene measures and restricted access to open products.  It will be reviewed and updated as Government advice changes. However, CTPA welcomes comments, questions or suggestions for improvements to this guidance. These should be addressed to Emma Meredith (info@ctpa.org.uk).
